Last night I was invited to the Stratford Lions Club 100th Anniversary Celebration - 1925 - 2025 as a guest representing Blankets for Canada - Stratford Group, Ontario. It was great to be part of their celebration. To my complete shock, I was awarded a Lions Quest Fellowship Award on behalf of Blankets for Canada. As I told them all, I’m only one representative from the many dedicated volunteers that make the blankets happen! In the 7 years that we have been donating to the Lions club, they have donated over 800 blankets on our behalf. I’m proud of the work we do and even more so of the amazing women and men that tirelessly make, assemble, distribute and champion our cause. Thank you to Cheryl, Don, Carol, Bev, Kim, Char, Krystal & Julie, plus our Friends from far and wide! This is for you.
